Learning-based Approach to Assessment and Evaluation

Program Overview

The program enables teachers to build a perspective related to ‘assessment for learning’ and develop skills in designing formative assessment formats/tools. It introduces teacher participants to various methods of formative assessment and engages them in designing tools for formative assessment thus appreciating learning-based approach to assessment.

Program Content

The program aims to strengthen capacities of teachers related to quality in assessment and types of assessment and further innovate assessment methodologies – open book, seminar, peer etc. Thus, aligning assessment to learning goals and competencies, giving feedback and technologically-assisted assessment.
