Program Overview

The broad purpose of the program, as articulated in NEP 2020, is to develop an ecosystem of research and innovation across the state through capacity building of teacher-participant enabling development of Facilitation Centres in higher education institutes following a ‘Hub and Spoke’ model.

Program Content

The program is an exposure to cutting-edge technologies, appreciation of significance of industry collaborations, experience of activity-based learning pedagogies. The broad content areas include critical areas of innovation, collaboration, industry connect, digital presence and leadership. The program requires participant-teachers to undertake a project with local industry (eg. MSMEs, media, digital, agriculture, sustainability, and informal/unorganized sector) once back in their institution thereby creating an opportunity to practice their learning. The active and/or interested institutions could be considered and guided to be a ‘Facilitation Centre’ for their region.
