Program Overview

The program envisages enhancing the capacities of women academicians, researchers and staff from higher education. It encourages them to hone their skills in knowledge management, research and administration and work towards taking up leadership roles.

Program Content

The programme introduces gender related concerns specific to higher education. It engages on topics related to gender, need for and importance of taking up leadership roles and engaging in academic research practice in higher education. The program methodology includes participatory exercises, discussions, role plays, case studies etc. to depict the professional experiences and encourage a comprehensive understanding of self in the context of society and profession.

Knowledge Partner

Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University (PAHSU) is a young university of the State of Maharashtra established in 2004. The university is equipped with various schools – computational sciences, social sciences, earth sciences, commerce and management, languages and literature, performing art and fine art, allied health sciences, life sciences and many skill-based courses.
